In lieu of flowers, the Gionet Family is requesting donations to Dogs Inc, a nonprofit organization that breeds, raises, and trains extraordinary dogs to become guide, service, and skilled companion dogs that make the world a brighter place.

Dennis' daughter, Elizabeth, has been a volunteer Puppy Raiser with Dogs Inc for almost 2 years. While Dennis was going through procedures and treatments and during his stays at the hospitals, she was there to visit with her current puppy, Toby Tyler. Every time Toby walked into the room, he went right to the side of the bed to give Dennis licks and was waiting for some pets. He couldn't wait to bring some happiness into Dennis' day! 

Puppy Raisers are a key part to guide and service dogs becoming the heroes they are to their eventual people. Without raisers, puppies won’t learn house skills, get potty trained, and have the basic skills needed for advanced training. Elizabeth has already raised one dog, Malex, who was recently placed with a veteran as a service dog. 

Over the past couple of months in the hospital, Dennis has told Elizabeth how proud he was of her and the work she's been doing with Dogs Inc. He understood the impact these dogs make for people (and at no cost - these dogs are completely free to the recipients). 

These adorable puppies grow into big paws that fulfill even bigger destinies. They warm hearts with hope and bring dreams to life. As a Puppy Raiser, Elizabeth is a small part of this impact these dogs make and Dennis was a huge supporter of her volunteer work.
