Every once in a while, we get lucky and our soul dog comes into our lives. Tyrus travels is truly my soul dog. It is usually a cliché to say it was love at first sight, but with Tyrus, it truly was. From the anticipation of sitting in my room at Dog’s Inc, waiting for my future guide dog to seeing him bound into my lap to lick my face was just pure joy. Since that moment on June 12, 2023, Tyrus and I have done so much and he has given me so much. Through Tyrus, Dogs Inc has given me freedom, independence, courage to hold my head up high and truly a best friend. I will never be able to repay the school enough for what they have given me, my life back. A life that I never knew could be possible. I had just grown accustomed to shuffling my feet and looking down at them as the world passed me by. But with Tyrus by my side, I can hold my head up high and look at the world around me instead of down at the ground at my feet. This year, we are hoping to go to seven national parks as we are planning another trip out west. I cannot wait to go and be free and explore this amazing country with my amazing guide Dog.

Dogs Inc not only provides guide dogs for the visually impaired, but they also provide service dogs for veterans suffering from PTSD. They are starting a scent detection program for type one diabetes and they provide gold star, family dogs, facility, dogs and Companion dogs for children with disabilities. It is truly a magical place where friendships are formed and bonds are made.

By becoming a Friend of Dogs Inc, I'm supporting their life-changing misson by raising funds for the cause. The nonprofit organization breeds, raises, and trains extraordinary guide dogs, service dogs, and skilled companion dogs that make the world a brighter place. 

These adorable puppies grow into big paws that fulfill even bigger destinies. They warm hearts with hope and bring dreams to life. As a true friend, I can be a part of this magical impact.
