I received Tyrus from Dogs Inc (Southeastern Guide Dogs) in June of 2023 and he has made a world of a difference in my life. He has made my small world so much bigger and brighter. I am more confident and independent because of Ty. He not only guides me through my daily life but he is also a huge support mentally for me. The dogs from Dogs Inc are more than dogs. They are family and a lifeline to the world. Tyrus allows me to travel independently without worry. He makes me feel like a normal person in the world around me. He makes me more approachable because I am not the girl with the white cane that everyone is worried about or afraid of. He has opened up a world of possibilities for me. We have traveled the world and he is my eyes. He finds the curbs and steps that I cannot see. Most importantly he is my best friend.
