Over the past year, I’ve been volunteering with an amazing organization, Dogs Inc, as a Puppy Raiser. Puppy Raisers are a key part to guide and service dogs becoming the heroes they are to their eventual people. Without raisers, puppies won’t learn house skills, get potty trained, and have the basic skills needed for advanced training. The nonprofit organization breeds, raises, and trains extraordinary guide dogs, services dogs, and skills companion dogs that make the world a brighter place.
Being a Puppy Raiser has been one of the best experiences of my life. Malex, my current puppy has been such a joy to raise. We’ve been on so many adventures and has been such a close friend to Helo, my other dog. It will be a very bittersweet day when I drop him off as Canine University. I won't know what his career will be, but I certainly know he'll change many lives. Even though I'll be sad, I plan on picking up my second dog to raise that day.
That's where you come in. I would love to name this puppy. However, naming a puppy means that I need raise $4,000 (I know, it's a lot). I have some meaningful names in mine, and if I raise enough I will let anyone who donated vote on the possible name options.
Keep in mind, Dogs Inc provides these dogs at no cost to the recipients. So as much as I want to name my next puppy, the donation is really for a much greater cause.
These adorable puppies grow into big paws that fulfill even bigger destinies. They warm hearts with hope and bring dreams to life. As a Puppy Raiser, I can be a part of this magical impact.
I've set an ambitious fundraising goal, and you are just part of what I need to make hope bloom in the lives of those Dogs Inc serves. Your support makes all the difference.
