Are donations made to my fundraiser tax-deductible?
Absolutely! Tax receipts are automatically generated and sent via email for donations made directly through the Friends of Dogs Inc fundraising website. For check and cash donations mailed to Dogs Inc, receipts will be sent by mail within 8 to 10 business days. If possible, please download, print, and submit this completed Donation Collection Form when turning in cash and/or checks.

Can I collect cash or checks at my fundraising event?
Yes, you can collect cash and checks at your event! If donors who contribute cash would like a receipt, please ensure their donation includes their name, address, and phone number. If possible, please download, print, and submit this completed Donation Collection Form when turning in cash and/or checks.

How do I turn in funds?
You can either drop funds off at Dogs Inc Monday through Friday between 8:30 am and 4:00 pm or you can mail funds to:

If possible, please download, print, and submit this completed Donation Collection Form when turning in cash and/or checks.

Who should checks be made out to?
Checks should be made out to Dogs Inc, but Southeastern Guide Dogs is also perfectly fine.

Is my information secure?
Yes, indeed! Personal and billing information is collected on secure pages on the Friends of Dogs Inc fundraising website.

How is credit card information handled?
Credit card information is entered on a secure page on the Friends of Dogs Inc fundraising website.

How long will it take for donations to be added to my fundraising page?
Donations made via credit card on the Friends of Dogs Inc fundraising website will appear in real time. For donations mailed to Dogs Inc, once we receive them, we kindly ask for 14 business days to apply the funds to your page.

If I participate in a matching campaign, will I get fundraising credit for the matched amount?
You will receive fundraising credit only for the amount you raised. The matched amount will support the mission of Dogs Inc but cannot be counted toward your fundraising total.
