Are there fundraising materials available for download?
Yes, indeed! The Fundraising Tool Kit has a variety of tools to help you share information about Dogs Inc, promote your event, seek donations, and much more.
Will I earn incentive items or rewards for fundraising?
Absolutely! Follow the link to our brand new Rewards Center to see the new and exciting items we're offering this season.
Can I get reimbursed for out-of-pocket expenses?
You do have the option to deduct expenses incurred before submitting the net proceeds to Dogs Inc, but please be mindful of expenses in an effort to maximize the funds raised for the mission. Collection boxes are ideal for reimbursement because people who donate to collection boxes do not expect a tax-deductible receipt.
Can I get volunteer hours for fundraising?
You sure can! Time spent at in-person fundraising events such as car washes, bake sales, farmers markets, etc. can be submitted for consideration provided the hours are appropriately documented and are not court ordered. Email fundraising@dogsinc.org for additional information.
What if a venue requires insurance?
You can send insurance requests to fundraising@dogsinc.org for consideration, but please note that coverage is not guaranteed. Requests should be submitted at least one month before the event date.
